Guest guest
Hey ,I'm a bit slow here, but I sure hear you! I've been through that myself. A few years ago, I was in really bad shape with the vulvar pain. I was raw, and my skin felt horrible. Fed up, I made 3 appts with 3 gyns within two weeks. The first one said no infection. Also, he did the q-tip test and said I didn't have vestibulitis (back in April, Libby said I do have localized vvs). The second one, highly suspected infection...he only did a culture (nothing else) and his office called and said No infection. Told me to use a Acigel to balance my ph. ??? The 3rd doc did a whiff test and culture and looked under the microscope -- it was a BV infection. Oh, and I had a doc practically laugh at me once when I asked for a Ph test. Acted like I was crazy for asking. It's so sad the way most just Rx yeast meds. I've had many docs over the years Rx meds without a culture. Oh well...hope you are feeling better!
