I read this article yesterday and I cried for an hour. I can't believe she stuck her kid in a hospital for 10 years and only visited her like four times a year! I am a mother of a child with Autism, and often times I feel as if I need to be hospitilized, but I would never do that to my child. I have spent an endless amount of hours and resources trying to get my child to stop stimming and lining everything up, but I realized after reading this article that he is perfect just like he is, and I love him with all of my broken heart. I think I may start lining things up with him, it may help me get more organized!
