Guest guest
Chelle, For inflammation that produces excessive mast cells would Benadryl ointment or cream help? I'm going to have a coposcopy done next month with maybe biopsies if she thinks I need one of the vulva and eventually she wants to do a copo. of the cervix because I've been exposed to HPV. She admits it can be painful- has anyone had one? Lately I've had a sore feeling-can't quite locate the pain-but I remembered to use hydrocortisone vaginal suppositories l00 mg a few times a week and that pretty much takes the pain away. Dr told me when the pain subsides to use l/weekly for maintenance. I know there are others like me who reached menopause and then the redness, burn & itch started. This works for me although cortisone can cause yeast so also taking diflucan can remedy this potential problem. Kathy
