Guest guest
> > Did I mention my ribs hurt like he!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ? > > Angie Harley Mama Double-D Angie, that's the area where I had my first flares back in the late 70's and several weeks ago, I had one dream one night about my friend who was dying, the next night I dreamed about her sister and the 3rd morning, I woke up with the worst pain in that area that I had had in at least several years!! I called my doc's office, she was out that day but her assistant gave her the message the next day and she wrote a script for percocet and my husband picked it up! Then, last week, I was in the area of the office where I used to go for physical therapy and thought " Gee! I need a deep tissue massage! " So, I scheduled one for last Wednesday and had been working on my back and at one point asked " Do you want me to go deeper " Well, despite the pain I was already in I said yes!!! It hurt so much that had it been the way I used to see her for deep tissue massages of more than the prescribed 15 minutes a week, I would have been yelling very loudly to the pain " Get out of here! It has been a nice visit, but it's time for you to leave!!! " I tried doing that mentally but I think I was so tight that I was not relaxing as I should have. I am seeing her again tomorrow and I DO HOPE those muscles/tissue that are nest to my spine have decided to let go a bit!!! I realized that the therapist I had been seeing because she was closer was not really DOING DEEP TISSUE massage. But the morning I woke up with that pain shouting down my sterum, across my left breast and off to my side was the worst flare I had had in ages!!! And I can still run my hand across that part of my body and feel much less pain. But I think somehow, even though I did not actually know Kasey was gone, on some level, I knew she had died. And I miss her so much!! I want to call or send and email, it s so hard to let go of someone who has walked in and out of your life since we were babies in the nursery at church --- so that means we had known each other for almost 63 years. And the strange connections --- her middle sister called my older brother her boyfriend, and after I found that out, I got to wondering how his classmates had coped with his death. Those first graders went home Tuesday night and when they were back in school on Wednesday, they had lost a classmate who had almost died 3 months earlier. But as the oldest sister told me earlier this week, it was something they had never had happen in their childhoods. Angie, I didn't mean to get off topic, but if your ribs hurt so much, perhaps a massage would help! > > > > ______________________________________________________________________ ______________ > Never miss a thing. Guest guest
Thanks , I've actually been thinking about a massage for a couple weeks. I might see if I can get in to see the girl I used to go to.
