Hey if anyone who is lucky enough to live where there is nice ateable fresh

fruit send some my way will you. I have not eaten anything but a fuji apple once

in a while in a few yrs, oh and my banana a day, since I got turned off by

buying different ones, and I mean varieties, and got them home thinking yum,

they were either, mushy, grainy, brown in the middle, I gave up o wasting the

money, it wasn't even drinkable as a smoothie! I miss the fruit I had when

living out in Ca. So you with good fuit, are sure lucky... Sharon

I would be very careful of energy drinks, especially since we all

have medications and other medical issues to deal with. Many of

these drinks contain very high concentrations of caffeine, ma huang,

and even ephedra, all of which can be very dangerous and can make

the symptoms of FM even worse (caffeine, in particular). Not to

mention lots of articial sweeteners, colors, additives and

preservatives that many of us are already extra-sensitive to.

I think we would be better off just trying to eat better and get

vitamins and minerals, etc. from lots of fresh fruits and veggies.

That's easier said that done sometimes, and I'm not good about it

either, but I do know that I have really felt like poop warmed over

on the few occasions when I've tried these energy drinks. I can't

even drink soft drinks any more because of all the preservatives and

articial stuff in them. They drag me farther down instead of being

a " pick-me-up " !
