estrace and testosterone cream combo

Gang,

I'm about due for my annual gyn appt. I have occasional skin tearing

issues so I'm going ask for an estrace cream prescription.

Has this group discussed testosterone compounded with the estrace

cream? I have a vague memory of that discussion and that at least some

folks that it was helpful.

I'm in the midst of perimenopause and my libido has begun to decline

and would like try a bit of testosterone - a very small, nano-bit.

My concern would be that somehow the testosterone could trigger a

worsening of my vulvodynia.

Hi:

I use compounded Estradiol and Testosterone in an aloe gel base. It has helped with the burning, but it took almost a year. I've been using it for about 2-1/2 years nightly. I have no side effects. I don't think the testosterone helped with my libido though.
