also a nurse for last 25 years. However, I have been through a cath. myself and

having my family there really helped.It is a always scary a bit to be in a

to the hospital alone, and if anybody is nearby, I could use a prayer

prayers/ or sit with me while I am waiting for OR, I'd be very

appreciative. I will give my DH's cell phone number to the nurse

station to contact him when I'm out ofn the OR, and to call him next

day when I'm being released. My cardio guy told me to plan on being

in overnight. With DH starting this new job next week, he can't get

time off so soon.
