MAKE SOME PALS – AND KNOCK DOWN SOME PINS

- Bowling program for youths with developmental disabilities -

WHAT:

The Special Populations Section of Broward County Parks and Recreation Division offers its

Pins ’N’ Pals, youth bowling program for ages 8 to 17 and ages 18 to 21 with developmental disabilities, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays, at Strikers Family Sports Center in Sunrise. The fee is $5.50 for two games, which includes the use of bowling shoes.

Space is limited and preregistration is required. This is a weekly program, and consistent attendance is required. Participants should be able to follow basic instructions/directions, able to function in a group structure, be capable of participation in group

activities and be independent with personal care needs/bathrooms skills. Family member(s) or group home staff may be asked to be available to provide additional assistance.

WHERE: Strikers Family Sports Center

8500 N.W. 44 St., Sunrise

WHEN: Tuesdays

4:30-6 p.m.

WHO: Ages 8-17 and 18-21 with developmental disabilities.

HOW: Fee: $5.50/two games (includes shoes). Preregistration is required.
