had his PTC Friday. The surgeon who did the procedure said his

bile ducts show no signs of blockage

and they actually look really good. We will do a follow-up with the

Transplant team. How do you know if

it is reoccur acne of PSC? Is that what the scarring on the liver would

suggest even though his bile ducts are

fine? Thanks so much for the support.

been diagnosed with recurrent PSC at that point and needed to get some

internal strictures opened up. Bile was drained externally for about a

week and then the tube was capped off and changed regularly for the

next four years. The liver biopsy suggests rPSC as a possibility, but

it may also be a problem at the junction of the bile ducts and the

roux-en-y loop. Be patient and wait for the results, then do what you
