Guest guest
Hi All; The insurance law states the insurance companies (some are exempt) must not deny coverage, have a limit of 36,000 annually and 108,000 lifetime. They are allowed to have their usual general exclusions. They can limit speech as long as they aren't just limiting for kids with Autism. If the policy says 20 visits it is valid. Medicaid is available for children based on parents income ( not assets...so you can have 100,000 in the bank and your child will qualify if you fall within the income guideline) For adults there is a asset limit and income limit. Medicaid is available based on lack of income, with SSI and through the Waiver once you have services. Kidcare is available for children (5-19) if the child is uninsured, and does not have insurance available. If your income is less than 200% of the poverty level you can get subsidized premiums that start at 20. pr child. Over 200% you pay the premium, which is about 159. pr kid. That's all folks!
