Guest guest
Just wanted to make sure everyone with younger kids in the North Florida/South Georgia area knew about an upcoming conference that will include a session on Apraxia - and it's only $35 to attend!. I went last year and the conference was really helpful. It's targeted to parents, public/privates schools, and community agencies. 22nd Annual Conference On Children with Special Needs Birth to Five provided by The Commission on Services for Children with Special Needs University of North Florida Friday, April 7, 2006 Contact: Jacquelyn Pass, (904) 390-3638 The apraxia speaker this year is Dancull, MA, CCC-SLP who, I've been told by my child's SPL, studied with or was associated with Kaufman. She speaks at 10:20am on " The ABCs of Apraxia " . Hope to see/meet some of you there! A few moms I know and even a few of my daughter's teachers (from her church preschool and her ESE preschool) are going..... I'll let you know how it goes! (mom of , 4 yrs, verbal apraxia)
