Guest guest
Well I started going to PT about 4 weeks ago. I have been doing kegals and strengthing my core muscles. I use a type of tens unit in my vagina also with my kegal exercise 2 times a day. BUT, I think what has helped the most is the actual PT. My therapist puts her hand inside of me and works the muscles in my pelvis... she uses her body and other hand to apply pressure from the outside while she applies pressue in the inside; as if the hands were going to meet " through me " - sorry if this is too graphic but ladies I have burned about my vagina, felt so raw in, out, all over it felt sometimes with my vagina - it was uncomfortable to walk more than 5 minutes and forget pants...for 1 year as of July. After 3 sessions with I now can wear pants... no they can't be skin tight blue jeans but I am way past that point in my life anyway. But nice slacks, pair of sweats, capris that don't show my panty line I can wear. Do I wear them every day? No. But twice a week or so with no determintal effects thus far. My point is if you havn't tried PT with a therpist that knows what she is doing, please please give it a try...My plan is to continue with this PT group for several months. The first week with I felt an small improvement that last a little bit, then the next week the burning was there after about 3 days, not as much, but there... this last time I am still comfortable. That horrible RAWNESS at the back of the opening of my vagina is gone, the redness is lessening...I am so thankful to God for her...hopefully if it is working for me, it might work for some others.
