Guest guest
Thanks to all three of you who responded about the capscasin recipe. I went with an acid mantle base. Tried it this morning and was surprised it was quite easy. I just put a dot on the former spot where my dermatitis and the biopsy were. i expected to have a big burn for 20 minutes and then wash it off. It burned a little, for maybe 5-ten minutes, but it was not much at all. My regular Dr. (and his young intern) were quite positive about trying this because of the neurotransmitter Substance P. It is commonly above normal amounts in women who are related and have vulvodynia/vestibulitis, and since I fit that description i asked about trying it. My other problems are fascia and muscle, minor, and respond, allbeit slowly, to (knowledgable) PT, Shiatsu massage with acupuncture, and rolfing. i feel like I'll get past this plateau and be wearing jeans this winter. -McTwirly
