First Steps Interventions, Inc. has been working vigorously in becoming a

provider for health insurance and finally have began getting results. We are now

providers for Cigna HMO and are waiting approval for PPO patients.

First Steps Interventions, Inc. began offering behavior therapy services in

February 2008. Our highly trained staff has been providing ABA & Verbal Behavior

therapy in-home throughout Miami-Dade and Broward County well before that time.

We specialize in Autism, Aspergers and other childhood disorders, including Down

Syndrome. Our services include but are not limited to Verbal Behavior

programs,shadowing in the school environment, Discrete Trial Teaching,

naturalistic learning, and many more services to aid the development of children

diagnosed with developmental disabilities.

First Steps Interventions uses only methods that have been scientifically proven

to produce positive behavior change. These methods stem directly from behavior

analytic research and are continuously evaluated through precise data collection

and program revisions by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Our goal is to

bring about rapid and positive behavior change while maintaining within the

realms of developmental appropriateness
