Guest guest
Rick has a zero track record for people with DD. He actually took the 5th amendment 75 times while he was on trial for medicare fraud. Sorry he is someone I can't trust. It would be wonderful if Jeb Bush could be our governor again but since he can't my vote is for Sink. She and Lorann Ausley are very close and Lorann has a proven track record and a personal interest in DD. You may want to check this out. It says a lot about his integrity. http://thehill.com/blogs/healthwatch/politics-elections/124453-lawyers-assail-rick-scott-for-medicare-fraud-testimony "Determine that the thing can and shall be done, and then we shall find the way." -Abraham Lincoln To: sList ; sList From: oudies@...Date: Fri, 15 Oct 2010 16:39:53 -0400Subject: Re: Rick Debate in Broward...more info From: Jane Subject: Re: Rick Debate in Broward...more info Date: October 15, 2010 11:10:15 AM EDT To: sList How does this help? Guest guest
That is incorrect. Levi Jr., A former general counsel of the Broward Republican Party, ran a losing campaign for School Board in 2000. He also was involved in the successful bias lawsuit in the 1990s (CCC) which alleged the school system was depriving urban east Broward schools of resources in favor of West Broward schools built for new residents. also chairs the Florida Council on the Status of Black Men and Boys and has previously chaired the Urban League of Broward County. is a member of the Board of Trustees of the state Broward College appointed by the governor. He has represented victims in several high visibility personal injury cases over the years. He is with a very small firm in downtown Ft. Lauderdale that has championed children's rights for the last 20 years. I agree with . They best choice is a well informed choice. Mr. is a lawyer with a very large firm. He actually worked AGAINST families with disabilities. He represented Early Steps and would do all in his power to prevent parents from obtaining services for their children. With the current state of services for our children being so dismal I just want to be sure all we can make the best choices possible. Guest guest
THIS IS THE LAST RICK SCOTT POST, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION . .. I am sure it would be easy for parents to call his office and confirm whether or not he represented CMS (Early Steps) against disabled families in 2008/2009. Thank you for the information.
