Guest guest
Who Speaks For Autism? Does Autism Speak? I made my second YouTube Video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dNaZnZZxXA Does autism speak? Is the saying autism speaks even logical? The autism community at times is divided. Even self-advocates are divided. Is autism an identity? Sure if you choose for it to be. Is autism a barrier? Sure it is if it is for you. When advocacy gets out of control and people with autism, parents, professionals and otherwise have bad behavior this is a good cool down video. Quality of life is the first human right. No one has the right to remove treatments, accommodations and research to help you if you choose to have that kind of help. Also no one has the right to change a person against their will in most cases. This video also promotes an audacity of inclusion and entices others to focus on adult autism inclusion as children are aging whom are in need of transitional supports even when they disagree with each other.
