Guest guest
It was suggested that we do reflex intergration with our 3 year old. We are currently doing neurofeedback, but were told by another party that it wouldn't work because she is still in brainstem. Is anyone currently doing these therapies with their children? Guest guest
I believe neurobiofeedback is appropriate for 6 and older (in some cases even 8 yrs. old) It was suggested that we do reflex intergration with our 3 year old. Guest guest
For those that are not familiar with primitive (primary) reflex integration you can read about it in Sally Goddard Blythe's book Reflexes, Learning and Behavior. She is one of the directors at the INPP in England. You can visit INPP online or go to masgutovamethod.com to learn more. Both methods are out of Europe and not that popular here in the US yet. Many parents are drawn to the amazing quick results of language, motor skills, behaviors, sleeping, social and academic results. When the brain gets a "2nd chance" to experience what it should have gone through initially as an infant, then reflexes integrate and bring all the pieces of the sensory puzzle together. There are many reasons why a child would still be operating in brainstem including birth trauma, lack of movement (in utero and as an infant), toxicity, stress, method of birth, food allergies and more. Research it and if you need more information, you can e-mail me privately. Shari
