Guest guest
I've been " seeing " Dr. Zolnoun for about the last year, but as you've noted that's only added up to 3 or 4 visits since she is so dang hard to get in with, then you still have to spend half your day waiting for her in the clinic. I used to like her ok, but now I'm furious at her because I was having what I knew was either a yeast or BV infection and she refused to even check me for BV. Didn't even do a thing. That kind of negligence is what caused my pain to begin with and I find it deplorable that someone who is supposedly treating it would conduct themselves with such carelessness. > > How many have saw Dr. Zolnoun. I saw her a few months ago. She prescribed Lamactil and Trazdone. It took me 3 hours to even get in a room and 3 months to even get in for an appointment. > > Has anyone had results from this med? I havent even been able to go beyond 1 pill because of bowel issues. Then they changed it to taking it nightly. But at this rate I'll never be able to work up on it. I am in a terrible flare right now. This is really discouraging and devistating. I have tried so many different things, I just always get it in my head this one isn't going to work eather. >
Guest guest
Greetings, I also see Dr. Zolnoun at UNC. The reason that it took so long to see her in the office is that she doesn't watch the clock , she gives alot of attention to her patients. However, my oncologist Dr. Soper recommeded her . She only deals with vulva issues. She did change my meds. around and put me on the Lamactil (I couldn't take it) and of course she prescribed the Estradiol/Lidocaine cream. I have had alot of surgerys with my VIN and my area doesn't do well with applied lotions/potions or creams, but the compounded cream has helped. I will be honest I wasn't really impressed with her or Dr. Steege however we here in NC don't have alot of choice, I guess we are forunate to have the Women's Pain Clinic . When I have a flair up I usually spend some time with my sitz bath and lay around in my gown only. If you are itching try more Bendryl, (Dr. Soper gave me Ativan for the itch relief) Dr. Zolnoun did not approve but tough I know what helps me. I live here in Graham and if you would like to talk email me : nchappell@.... Chappell VIN III 4 laser surgeries and a partial vulvectomy age from Lee Ann : -------------- How many have saw Dr. Zolnoun. I saw her a few months ago. She prescribed Lamactil and Trazdone.
