Hi --

You have no idea how happy I am to read this message that you have a

GYN in Raleigh that you like. I just had that horrible experience with

Dr. Z and I have in the past had such a hard time getting vaginal

yeast/bacterial infections diagnosed.

I have vestibulitis that is much improved with PT but I still get

infections sometimes and I really need someone who will take the time

to do the proper cultures, tests, etc. Do you have any idea if she

does thorough examinations for cultures?

She is familiar with vestibulitis? What kinds of treatments does she

offer for it?

Thanks,

I have never had any infections (KNOCK ON WOOD!!!) so I don't know if

Dr. does proper examinations for cultures.

If you want some culture done you should ask for it and she will do

it. She is always thorough and professional.

Back in 1998 she offered Elavil/Amitriptyline and Lidocaine for

Vestibulitis. She has probably got more stuff to offer now. I don't

really have Vestibulitis since I had the surgery, now I am dealing

with nerve pain.

Dr. is not a VV specialist, or a VV researcher like Dr.

Zolnoun. When you first meet her, have a talk with her about your

expectations.

The thing about Dr. Zolnoun is that she has all this knowledge! I wish

I had some way to pick her brain!
