But then my DH who was home all day with me. Came to bed to remind the last time we had sex. I wanted to strangle him. Now mind you we are newlyweds. He knew whta he was getting into. I need some advice. I am setting her crying now. I have a call into my rheumo, he should call back soon. Thanks so much... Guest guest
Oh sweetheart, my heart goes out to you. I don't have advice for you but wanted to respond so you know there is someone here and thinking about you. I'm so glad you have called the doc. Hang in there and I'm praying and thinking of you. Ignore that hubby. Sometimes no matter how supportive they just don't get it and do something totally dumb. Please let us know how you are doing, okay? I will stay checked in today more than usually so just write to me if you need. Positive thoughts, prayers and support going out to you. Guest guest
Holly, The swelling in the hands for me; I either need a diuretic or I need to drink water. I have an Rx for the diuretic but I do believe there is one in Midol. Past that, I'd tell the doctor and see what they think. Guest guest
>When I get that way, I had help or crawled to the bath and just soaked in it. It seemed to draw out the toxins out of my body... Scrub the bottom of your feet when your body starts to calm down in the bath. Then I also use 800mg IB PRO and Aspercreme oder free and works the best from all I have tried. if that does not help me I goto the E.R. as for Your husband ..I believe that is part of the Fibro monster that pops in them when were down and out. I did have a talk to mine and he still did it..so yes when he had the flu one year... I was feeling okay and I jumped on the bed plus made sure the big dog did too and said; " come on honey I will make you feel better like you say to me lets see if it works " ..well, to my surprise he said ok! haha so getting him back won't do nothing. He now comes and lays by me and rubs a gental touch all over me and puts on calm sounds to ease my mind and body..he did get the point I made when I jumped on the bed up and down with dog and took it to his brain head Just know your not the only one and glad to have this place to know that > > > I am going to make this short. Guest guest
I just took a hot bath and when i start to sweat i heat it up a bit more, then i get out and just put a robe on. it helps me alot when i have swelling and feel like a puffer fish. it also helps a bit with aches. as for the hubby who keeps the calendar on the last time , just say " where was that in the vows? in sickness and health was there but i don't remember in sex and lets keep count " Diane --- kmegawat wrote: > >When I get that way, I had help or crawled to the > bath and just > soaked in it. I used to live in NC and my hands hurt terribly, I filled a cotton sack with rice (uncooked of course) would heat it in a microwave for about a minute and wrap my hands in that the heat would help ease the pain for a few minutes. I have moved to Colorado the altitude and the lack of humidity have really helped my joint pain. Unfortunately, I feel weather fronts much more acutely here. I don't know how to help you with getting your husband to understand. I now have an ex, and have no desire to try another relationship. Don't let that happen to you. It is so hard to get understanding for our illness, so easy to feel guilty and inadequate when we can't keep up physically & socially. You are in my prayers Patsy,
