Guest guest
, Amen! I am in the same situation and try as I might to be upbeat and positive, each day without a call gets a little harder. Hang in there. I will lift you up in my prayers. OKC Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
Guest guest
, I couldn't agree with you more! I've had two transplants. The first one I was listed for 19 months before my transplant. This was pre MELD days and I started at #12 because my blood type is B and it is the shortest list, but it seemed like an eternity before I got the call. The transplant itself and recovery was a piece of cake compared to the waiting. We I was diagnosed with recurrent PSC I thought here we go again! But because they were using MELD they waited to list me until MELD was quite high, 25. It put me on the top of the list and I had to wait only a month, which was a Godsend! I know what you're going through and it isn't pleasant, but hang in there it will happen one day.
