Guest guest
This past weekend my little man turned 5 (well today actually), so for his birthday I did an Orlando trip which included Magic Kingdom, Universal, and the brand new park Lego Land. My son is a lego freak so I figured he would go crazy for it. I'm sure no reviews are needed for Disney as they go above and beyond to accommodate everyone, and Universal does a fantastic job as well. Legoland is in Winterhaven, Florida which is about a 40 minute drive from the rest of the main theme parks, luckily the park was all but empty when I wen because you can tell since they are so new they are not ready for huge crowds. When you walk in, go to guest services and tell them you need an all access pass due to your sons autism, they gave me a card and something that looks like a ticket and that gave me access to all the rides for me and everyone in my party. You walk in thru the exit, don't be hesitant as they are not fully staffed yet and unlike disney do not have staff members waiting at the entrance to direct people the proper way. Go in through the exit and you will skip the whole line. They do a pretty good job with everything. If your kid loves lego, its definitely a place I recommend, however try to go on a day when the park is empty because I can't imagine how hectic it would be when it is packed. Be warned, this is a park for kids, unlike Disney or Universal which is for kids and adults, the target audience of this park is 3-9 years old I would say. A little pricey, 75 per adult, 65 per kid. In my opinion they should charge adults like 40 bucks since we really don't enjoy the rides.
