As you should all be aware, the Dan Marino Foundation Walk-About Autism will be held on January 28, 2012 at Sun Life Stadium.

The inaugural DMF Walk-About Autism, held on January 29, 2011, was a great success – raising over $450,000 for our local autism community with over $35,000 going back to the schools who participated. Over 10,000 “WalkAbouters†enjoyed a beautiful winter day with a short walk around Sun Life Stadium and then entered into the stadium where games, music, rides, bounce houses, football clinics with Dolphin players, and lots of other fun activities were taking place.

We’re hoping to make this year’s event even bigger and better!!!

In an effort to make this happen, the Autism Society Broward will be recognizing the top three producing Broward Schools’ Teams with an I-Pad 2. This is a great opportunity to bring teachers, parents and kids together for a great community event, while raising much needed dollars for school supports and those living with autism right here in our own community.
