Guest guest
I a worrier of course but I was wondering how people know when their young children have PSC. My 6 1/2 year old has had some issues before where he'd be constipated and stuff and then have diarhhea and sometimes he forgets to flush. (Sorry this will be a little TMI I'ms ure) and once I noticed blood in the toilet. I thought it was just from being constipated. Well a couple weeks ago he said his side was hurting (URQ) and I got scared. My husband just told me I was over reacting. Well he was saying his stomach hurt again today and after he was in bed I was doing laundry and he forgot to flush again and his stool was very very pale, like almost white. And it just scares me. What things do I look for. We have 4 kids and between my health and my husband's Crohn's disease I'm scared that at least one of my kids will have something wrong. What do I do? Just wait and watch? Guest guest
Mellissa my daughter was diagnosed with psc when she was 17. i sent her to the dr. because she was so tired and was missing a lot of school.within 6 months she developed jaundice with nausea.you should talk to your sons dr. and let him know about your concerns. blood test can be the only thing that will show if he has a problem or not. i hope the best for all of you god bless chris
Guest guest
Hi ; It would be worth having checked by his doctor. Better to have him looked at rather than wait, watch and worry. I know it is extremely tough to contemplate that your child may have something wrong, but in the long run you'll feel better knowing that you did the right thing for and had his symptoms evaluated by a doctor. Best regards, Dave (father of (22); PSC 07/03; UC 08/03)

Hi I agree with what says and you being a Mum will worry yourself sick (and you can't afford to do that!!!) the longer you put off seeing a Doctor. Best wishes to all your family.
