Guest guest
On wednesday I went home early from work with URQ pain and vomiting. After throwing up and I started dry heaving, I went to the ER. They tested me for Gall Stones and a Gall Bladder infection. After the test they told me that they couldn't do anything for me. By this time the pain had subsided. They told me that because my Liver Enzyms were elevated, I may want to follow up with my GP. The next morning I called my Liver doctor and they worked me in yesterday afternoon. After looking at the blood work and examining me for more than and Hour they cam to the conclusion that I may be having a constricted bile duct. Next week I am having an ERCP(my first one in ten years) and possible put in a stint if needed. Thought I would let all of you know what is going on with me. I am still in a little pain and the doctor said that it will be if there is constriction in the duct. I don't know if I will be able to stand the pain for a week, but they can't get me in any earlier to do the ERCP. Please keep me in your prayers. Guest guest
hey all, Last friday I had a ERCP. They thought they they were going to have to put a stint it, but once they got in there they saw that they didn't have to. However they did have to cut my spincter muscle. After that was over they gave me an antibiotic. I am felling better now. I don't have any pain now. I will have to see how it helped when I go see my dr in a few weeks. Will keep you updated.
