I am usually a lurker and have only posted once or twice. I read that

some have a pain in their right upper (or is that lower) quadrant.

I am embarassed to say that I am not sure where this is.

I have had a pain on one spot on my right hip radiating toward the

back. I don't feel it all the time, just if I touch it or do something

such as getting out of the car, I feel a twinge.

Thank you,

Kim

The Right Upper Quadrant (RUQ) is the area of your abdomen on the

right side just under the rib cage. Here is a link to a picture better

showing exactly where the abdominal quadrants are

As for the pain you are experiencing, I am not sure what it is without

hearing more of your medical history. Could be a number of things if

it is RLQ pain. One of the more common cause of RLQ pain is

appendicitis and constipation. But again I dont know about your

history so I couldn't say

Forgot to mention when I get my RUQ pain it is generally right at the

line of my ribcage, in response to PSC symptoms I am experiencing.
