My daughter, 10, went to school today in her pe outfit. Shorts and a tshirt. She

jumped out of the car without her jacket. She HATES wearing pants or jackets.

Terrible. I was hollering for her to get her jacket and she took off!

Anyone else have kids that refuse to use jackets or pants? I remember I took her

skiing and she hardly used any long sleeve clothes. She kept opening her jacket

complaining she was hot!

I walked in her room this morning and it was like an icebox. Her window wide

open and fan on high! ahhh! Thank GOD we live in s. florida and not up north!

lol

My daughter didn't like the textures of jeans etc when she was younger. So, in order to go for whatever "fun" activity I had planned ie: dinner out etc. she had to wear "soft clothes" ex: sweatpants, sweat jacket over her favorite shirt, shoes & socks. I built it up to include school with reinforcements ie: stickers etc and help from the teachers. She still has her favorite sweat jacket with a hood that I keep buying in larger sizes but will wear jeans now also. I even took her to disney world when it was cold so she had to wear hats, mittens etc in order to see Minnie. Worked like a charm.
