In the study, 18 trim, healthy adult volunteers who

restricted their levels of physical activity to no more than 5,000 steps a day

and ate at least two fast food meals every day for 4 weeks showed clear signs

of liver damage.

> That is very interesting. If you watch Supersize Me, after eating

only Mc's for about 3 weeks, Spurlock went to his doctor

and did some blood work and his doctor was shocked by his liver

numbers. The doc actually told him that he needed to stop the McD

diet because he was so concerned that was going to do some

serious damage to his liver. There is a show that you are all

probably familiar with called CrazySexyCancer about a young gal that

was diagnosed with liver cancer in 2003 and she is still here! She

follows an incredibly strict diet though (organic everything, specific

juices, no coffee, yikes!) but she has a great message about

empowerment and living with something very scary and how live inspite

of it.

I haven't seen Crazy (the gal was on Oprah and I have been to her

website) but Supersize Me was a good show. Makes ya think twice about

eating out! Plus is very funny and warm which makes it

interesting to watch.

Stay happy and safe!
