Guest guest
Dear All,As the PSC Partners conference nears, everyone is getting ready and I can't wait to see everyone there. It is going to be great this year !Please start planning to come. You can find registration information on our website:www.pscpartners.org.The conference is at the Mayo clinic in ville FL.from Friday May 2 -Sunday May 4 and if you arrive early there is a golf tournament Friday AM and for those that do not golf a boat trip on the St. River.PSC Partners Seeking a Cure is working hard to put together a great conference and to raise money for research.Below is a complete list of the different ways that each of us can help PSC Partners fight for a bettertreatment of PSC. Some of them are free programs that are so easy to do. Everyone can help if they are aware of the different opportunities. Our big fundraiser this year is the Road to ville. We are walking from our last conference in Denver to our next conference in ville. People are having fundraisers to help us raise $50 a mile with the hopes that we can raise $100,000. It is a big goal but we have a big job ahead of us to find a better treatment for PSC. Please join us. More information on this and our other fundraisers is in the attachment below and on our website. www.pscpartners.org.Please help me spread the word. Thanks to each and everyone of you who are already helping.Lee “We hope this information is helpful to you. Guest guest
I'm a little confused about the logistics for the conference. Are the 2 hotels located close to where we're holding the conference? Are the hotels within walking distance of the conference site or will we need to get rental cars to get around? I'm hoping to attend this year, but don't think my husband will be able to attend. Last year, we saw many people come solo or with caregivers other than spouses. I'm checking both with my mother and my daughter to see if either is willing to join me. It's a long way to travel all by myself, but it's something I'm not afraid to do if necessary. Guest guest
Hi Debbie, I’m glad to hear that you’re hoping to attend the conference again this year. If your mother or daughter can join you, that would be great, but feel free to come solo otherwise. Re: logistics for the conference….If you go to the website (www.pscpartners.org), click on our most recent edition of the newsletter to see a map of the Mayo campus. You will definitely not need a car to get around, as the two hotels are right on the campus where we’ll be holding the conference. The Courtyard is about a four minute walk from the Cannaday Building, and The Inn at Mayo is connected to the Cannaday Building. If you have any more questions, just let me know. Hoping to see you in May!
