Hi Don, As an Ohioan I am happy to call to the U of Minnesota the real U of M. That other school is simply referred to here as "The School up North" or as the part of the USA that we would be happy to donate to Canada. Go BUCKS! Darcy

I didn't know there was any difference

between Michigan and Minnesota

(or Missouri, Maine,

land, Massachusetts

and Montana

for that matter). All of them seem to be too close to the North Pole to be

habitable. Of all the states that start with an M, Mississippi seems to be the only one that is

(kind of) habitable. ;-)

P.S. just kidding, I've seen pictures from

Arne's house in the snow that made want to fly there and never come back to my

steaming hot and war-torn region. It looked so peaceful and serene there.

SNOW - Midland Michigan has had 72 inches of that

wonderful stuff this season. Normal volume is about

36inches or half.
