Guest guest Posted February 19, 2008 Report Share Posted February 19, 2008 My son who will be 21 in June is transfering from his peds GI to adult GI. However I am not too sure of how fussy I should be about the doctor he is given. He hs both PSC and UC and had been seeing a GI. Now the adult GI he has been transfered to has interest in UC but in trying to reschedule his first appointment, I found out that the new doctor whose title is a clinician, only has appointments on Mondays for just about two hours. Now my worry is, does he have any experience or get enough experience with just those hours for me to trust my son in his care. Am I being too fussy? And should he have a hepatologist instead?
