Guest guest
Tom, I was disheartened to see from your emails that PSC seems to be getting the best of you. I am glad that town has stepped up to the plate to make a difference in your care. I still swear by Mayo and I am about to start a medical relationship with their staff down in ville (approx. 6hr drive from Charlotte.) I will let you know how I am treated at that facility once I start to see them for my care. I certainly hope town can devise a plan of action for you to treat both the pain and the itching. Have you considered the tax season to be an added stressor or a diversion from the symptoms? I certainly hope they can move your transplant status along. We wish you all the best and pray that better times are on the way. You are in our daily thoughts and prayers friend. Tarheel Tim
Guest guest
Hi Tom, I am so sorry to hear that the bubble has burst for you at Mayo. Is there a reason why they won’t discuss living donor? It seems to me you are a prime candidate for it. You situation sounds very familiar to where my son was before transplant. He did get extra points for lots of reasons…once he was listed he waited 6 months and then it was really time for a LDLT. He was in the hospital more than he was home. I send you the very best and hope things work out for you at town. Together in the fight, Whatever it takes!
