Guest guest
J, I am not really sure about the pain but with your hcg level down to 11, I would think it wouldn't be the ep.. If it continues, maybe you should call yor dr. Good luck and I hope it goes away. soapprincess@...> wrote: I need some help...I had my 2nd ectopic on September 5th, surgically removed by LAP. They managed to save the tube (the ectopic was one inch into the tube beside the fimbria). I am now nearly 1 month post op and just started having some really bad pains on my right side. No shoulder pain, but the pain is off an on... Am I ovulating? Is it possible for this to be from the ectopic?? My HCG was down to 11 a week and a half ago. I am spotting, but I figured it would be from my period which is due any day now. Any advice? J
Guest guest
, I would think it would be early to be ovulating. It could be period pain/hormones aggravating the damaged tube. I have some pain off and on and the doctor speculates that it could be scarring. My pain isn't bad, but I didn't have surgery either. If your pain is " really bad " I would definately call the doctor. I know I wouldn't be able to sleep otherwise. But that's me. Guest guest
: I have the same thing going on. I had my ectopic removed, saved the tube on 8/10. Since then, every three weeks I've had sharp pains in my side and spotting for about 8 days. My doc doesn't seem to think this is all that abnormal....I've pretty much had this dull aching feeling ever since the major surgical pain subsided. The pains generally get sharper the closer I get to this spotting. He did tell me that it's probably just my body trying to get back to normal. At first, I thought I was ovulating, but I chart and no such luck! In fact, I still haven't ovulated. Hopefully, this is just a healing process some of us have to go through and we'll be back to our regular cycles soon! Hang in there, and if it bothers you alot, I'd call your doc. ~Kim > > > I need some help...I had my 2nd ectopic on September 5th, surgically > removed > > by LAP. Guest guest
This is all you've eaten today? Is this normal for you? If you're eating this little even a few times a week, it may explain why you're not losing. Our bodies want to know they will be getting food on a regular basis. Sounds odd, I know, but it seems to work this way for many people. Some say starvation mode is a myth, but I know it's happened to me, I was on the rotation diet quite some years ago and the caloric intake was VERY low every other week. I didn't lose much on this at all, the theory was that the very low calorie week (600-700 per day) would take off some weight and the higher week (1200 calories per day) would trick it into staying out of starvation mode...didn't work for me, I think my body thought I was starving and let go of weight VERY slowly. The best weeks of loss I've had often ended with a HUGE meal, high in fat and oh so yummy, then whoosh...2 pounds in a day or two. Glad you're going to post menus, hope we can help. Guest guest
I've had this pain and itching going on 4 months. I have been using premarin now for about 6 days. The vulva area was starting to give me hope of getting better. The pain had signifigantly lessened. Now today it is flaming in pain and I looked and the folds are red and look raw. I'm terrified now because I am about 3 days before my period and last month over the period the pain got so bad I couldn't stand it. I don't understand why it suddenly got worse when it had been improving

I have vulvar lichen planus and it manifests on my inner labia and clitoral area as very red and inflamed. It causes me horrific pain when I am in a flair. Please go to your doctor or specialist and have them do a biopsy of the area. I empathize with you. Once I got diagnosed properly, I can for the most part control the lp with clobetasol and very potent topical steroid oinment. Please get checked out. >
Guest guest
, Thanks for your reply! I don't know who to go to. I'm fairly rural. I have seen a GP, two nurse practitioners and a Gyno from the women's Health center that only comes here a couple times a month. I too feel like they haven't checked it out enough. All I can get is a vaginal swab and culture and told to take the Yaz.It seems like a generic " I don't know so take this and see if it works " . I'm scared to death it will make it worse. I have this dry feeling over my whole vulva area and around the anal opening also. It's dry and burning. I'm going to call back the women's center I think and see if they have anyone who is more specializing in vulva issues. I really thought the premarin was helping till it flamed up again as bad. This is so frustrating. I'm so embarassed to have to feel like I am forcing the Dr.s to look at my vulva, I hate this.
