Guest guest
Hi Listmates First Kidcare/CMS, I have learned with any government program the person on the phone or at the desk does not necessarily know what is law. I have had workers flat out tell me something that was 180 degrees from what the manual says. Google, it is a great thing, keep googling until you see what you need in writing and then ask to speak to a supervisor. Next; Risperdal. Miki would take her first dose at 7 am and I would notice like clockwork a 4 pm meltdown, too soon for her 7 pm dose. I beleive the med goes through their system and when it gets low meltdown occurs. I got Miki Risperdal M tabs, which melt under her tongue and go into her system in about 20 minutes. I used them for the time between the tablets. Incidently, she's been on it since she was 5, 7 yrs., and it is the ONLY thing that seems to work for her. We started her slow and she didn't get much of a weight gain from it. The first night I gave her the Risperdal it was like the devil left the room. She fell asleep on my shoulder for the first time and I balled my eyes out! Hope this helps, Jayne...now skyping with Miki
