Guest guest
there is something that has been bothering me for a while. i am not sure who the players are, but jeanne had a problem with water squirting out of a hole in her side. she asked people on this board for help and the response she received was some people criticizing her for her use of U of M incorrectly. i am too sick to look up the names of the people involved, but please remember, this is not a social networking site. there are people who are very ill and desperately seeking help, advice and compassion. the " non sick " people seem insensitive to this fact. thanks for listening. psc pam dx 2001 p.s. has anyone bothered to ask jeanne how she is? Guest guest
I remember people (don’t know who) talking about U of M. No one criticized Jeanne, as I recall they were teasing each other about the schools and the sport teams. If no one answers a question it’s usually because of two things – 1. Either no one knows the answer or 2. It was simply overlooked. With so many e-mails every day, it’s easy for people to think someone else will answer, so they don’t and on rare occasions it ends up with no one answering. I think most people know this can happen and don’t take it as a personal slight. If it happens to anyone again, please just rewrite the question and put HELP in the subject line. I am more than a tad upset at your saying “non sick” people are insensitive. I can assure you this is not at all true. I highly doubt there is even one person in this group who doesn’t wish they were sick rather than their loved one! We ARE a support group and a damn good one! I (and many others) would be completely lost without it. For me it’s my private life line. I am glad you were there for Jeanne and answered her e-mail. Guest guest
Hi Pam; I don't recall seeing this message from Jeanne re " a problem with water squirting out of a hole in her side " . Can you remind us what message number it was in the archives? Sorry if I overlooked it ... it wasn't intentional. Best regards, Dave R. > > there is something that has been bothering me for a while. i am not > sure who the players are, but jeanne had a problem with water squirting out of a hole in her side. she asked people on this board for help and the response she received was some people criticizing her for her use of U of M incorrectly. Can you > remind us what message number it was in the archives? Jeanne was responding to someone else's question in the U of M thread (at message #99907), not asking one of her own. If anyone criticized her, I sure didn't see it.
Guest guest
The post I saw was about when they do the MELD score. Than the post got OT with playful joking about the U OF M. The question about the MELD score question was answered. I did think that the OT subject should have been changed to OT because it was confusing as to if the " medical " question was ever answered. > > > > I don't recall seeing this message from Jeanne re " a problem > > with water squirting out of a hole in her side " .
