Guest guest
Hi, my name is Jill. I've been suffering with fibro/cfs for years. I recently started being treated by the Fibo and Fatigue Center in Fort Worth. I've been going for about 3 months now. I've spent around $2000 so far and we are broke. Seriously broke. Should I keep going? Has anybody had success with the Fibro and Fatigue Centers? If you did, how long did it take before you noticed a difference. Thanks!!, Jill
Guest guest
Dear Jill, I don't know of anyone who has had success. Several of the girls in my local fibro group went and although they found some levels of vitimins etc in their system as low they stopped going because the expense was more than they could afford and no noticable change occured. The funny thing is they sent me their catalog for their products yesterday. JudyMer ---- k_cachet wrote: > Hi, my name is Jill. I've been suffering with fibro/cfs for years. Ummmmmm...as long as you could pay for it? ;D Seriously, look at what they're doing to try to help you. Is it helping? Have you talked to your doc about what they're doing? Is there something similar that you can do that will be covered by insurance? Sorry I can't be much help, but $2K is a lot of out-of-pocket if it's not helping. And even if it is helping, what good is it doing if you can't afford it? A word of caution - if you're on any antidepressants or anything like that prescribed by them, make sure you have continuity of care before you quit them. Some of those drugs, it's bad to just stop cold. Z
Guest guest
Jill, first of all welcome to the group. You are in a good place for support. I have never been to a fibro/fatigue center before. I do not have insurance. I would like to know what they have done for you though? I am curious as to how they treat this illness there. Just my opinion, if it has not helped much yet, I suspect it might not. I know most of us don't have that kind of money to give out. I am Debra V. in Lufkin Tx. I am 43 and was diagnosed about 5 years ago. Please write and let me know what kind of treatments you have had. Welcome again, hugs, Debra V. k_cachet wrote: Hi, my name is Jill.
