Guest guest
You are right, that may very well be it. Give yourself an A for being clever, and having a clear mind, to think of this, did the madding autoimmunes, give u a clear window today for thinking well? Oh hey did u get your SSD papers completed and mailed? It took me 2 wks, and I just had husband mail out today. Let's hope we both somehow get a first time approval, this has happened, on occasion. Hope your feeling better with the crud stuff. Take Care, Sharon Angie wrote: Maybe the fool got Zantac and Xanax mixed up. Isn't it antacids you aren't supposed to take with some antibiotics? He prescribed Azithromycin for my resp problem and told me " don't take your Xanax for the 5 days you are on this " . I was dumbfounded. I said " why " ... He said there would be a terrible interaction. I asked if this was something new that they had just discovered and he said " I don't know " . Well, for his info....(He is a P.A.- not my real doc)... I have given these drugs together for years. I have never seen anyone hurt by it or keel over and die. And I can find almost nothing on the internet about it. I believe I have taken it before while I was on Xanax. Ok... Azithromycin is similar to Erythromycin which is one of the oldest antibiotics. Also I want to know if he thinks that some nice Xanax withdrawals after 5 days cold turkey would be the best thing to do. Whatever. I have seen it prescribed many times to people on Xanax with no problem. I also presume he thinks I take Xanax just for the hell of it and don't need it. Needless to say I am taking the crap together. I am about to fill it because I guess I won't get over this crap without something. Just venting. And by the way, he does not know I am a R.N. either. He looked at me like " what would make you ask this " ?????? duh. Alright, if I keel over you will all know it is because I did not listen to him. love and hugs, Debra V. ------------ --------- --------- --- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo! Guest guest
LOL Sharon, Let's call it a reverse brain fart. A brain fart of clarity!! hahaha I mailed the forms last week; I think it was Tuesday when I went out for my doctor appt. I got a letter from them today that they want me to call them. I'm thinking its regarding the forms. I'm also praying that we somehow have a miracle happen and get through this the first time. I know its not very likely; but wouldn't it be great?
