Hi, I'm new here and will be doing some reading here in the next

couple of days. I had some burning and itching and used otc yeast

med and it continued so I went to the DR and was dx'ed with BV so I

used Metrogel vaginally but the itching and burning never stopped.

It's been over 3 months now of a burning/itching cycle from hell. I

haven't been able to have sex in all that time and I am getting

depressed with all this. I'm 38 and trying to do some classes and

boy does it hurt to sit long. I've soince all that been back to the

GP twice, 2 different Nurse practitioners and one gynecologist. The

suggestions I was given was to try Yaz, Estrogen cream and to do

salt rinses. I am so painful that clear water in the shower sets it

off on a pain /itching cycle. I finally used vaseline to rub on and

it eases the discomfort a little.

I'm going to read here to see if people have gotten some relief from

various things because this is getting to be too much and I can't

get enough medical help here because they have no idea what it is.

I want to try Emu oil on the area. How do I tell if it is pure

enough so it won't cause any infection or such? I have the specs

given to me off one I ordered. Maybe someone who is more familiar

with it can help me understand it. I'm hoping it's ok because I'd

like to start using it tonight so if anyone can help it would be so

wonderful!!
