symptoms/signs of cholangiocarcinoma

What are the symptoms/markers for CCA ? My son has had mural

thickening of his common bile duct walls and I know that can be a

sign of CCA. The latest ultrasound shows that they are getting bigger-

now each wall is @ 3.5 mms- that's the walls onl;y- each that thick -

not the inside diameter of his common bile duct- that's stable at @

8.5 mms after years of stents replaced repeatedly and several huge

sphincterotomy cuts. His new GI doesn't think that mural thickening of

his common bile duct walls are even important...grr and we are stuck

with this GI..long story but literally no one else in town and the out

of state specialists we would like to see- because my son also has

short bowel syndrome...all require referrals from a local GI.

I would like to be prepared with info to show the GI at my son's next

appointment. The GI will be consulting with the hepatologist...another

long and ridiculous story involving lots of big egos...
