Good morning all,

Just wanted to let you all know that I left Wisconsin Friday morning at 6:00

a.m. and arrived in Fort Worth Saturday at 5:00 p.m. It was a very, very

long ride - we were delayed by about 5 hours - but thanks to my meds and my

distractions of reading and crocheting - it went fairly well. I met some

lovely people on board - one woman and her daughter in particular who were

traveling from Michigan to Houston, Texas. I also met people from all over

the country which was very nice to be able to talk to others from different

backgrounds and locations.

The ride was a little hard on my fibro and my lower back but I managed - so

all the worrying and fretting was really for nothing. Just wanted to thank

everyone who responded with encouragement and ideas about travel. Hubby

will be joining be in about 10 days and in the meantime (even though I still

have to work - I work from home so I can basically work anywhere) I'm going

to enjoy the time spent with my son, the lovely 63 degree weather at 8:00 or

so in the morning, the birds chirping and all the different plants starting

to bloom and bud outside.

Oh, and I'm definitely hitting the Fort Worth Botanical Garden with the

Butterfly exhibit! I'm thinking this short change of scenery is already

doing me some good.

Hope you all have a pain free day!

Teri (central Wisconsin) (currently in Texas)
