Guest guest
So glad you finally got to be together, Vicki. Yes, it is very reassuring to see and feel in person that our loved one is really OK. Now, I hope your pain lessens as hopefully your stress level does. Take care. Jeanne in WI Hi everyone, Just wanted to share that I finally got to see my fiance last night. The last two weeks have been so hard for us both that when he showed up here I held on to him and cried forever with relief. I knew he was ok but seeing him and hugging him made me feel so much better. They finally figured out that it wasn't his valve that caused it, it was the blood thinner that he takes for the valve replacement that he had in 2005. They said that the med he is on for that wasn't working the way it was supposed to and it caused the stroke. He also found out that the reason he has the damage to the nerves in the right side of his face and that eye is because he has lesions on his brain stem. They told him that when the lesions heal his eye should get better. I just feel terrible because I finally got to have him next to me last night and i kept him awake all night because I was in so much pain. He is so supportive of me that he didn't care he just tried to help me by getting me my Norco (pain pills) and rubbed my legs. I wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who helped me stay sane by letting me vent and giving me their support. I am still having a lot of pain and fatigue today but i am feeling so much better emotionally. Sorry this was so long. I hope everyone has a good weekend with as little pain as possible. i love you all my Fibro friends. Gentle hugs, Vicki
