I am glad to hear you are going out to your Mom, I can't imagine those

people trying to stop you! What nerves. I hope u find her better when u get

there. It sounds like, and can be wrong, that if your mom took a fall once all

ready and broke her hip, she either failed mentally from there, as possibly she

is suffering with sm. TIA's or, with my experience, why we try SO HARD to

prevent an elderly person from falling and breaking a hip, usually if they

recover from it, it causes them to deteriate mentally to some extent, belived

from such truama to there body, or if she had the start of some dementia or

alzihiemer's this could bring it on heavier. This is what I don't understand,

this lazy lazy girl that was there in bed asleep, while your mother had been up

long enough to try and feed herself, and had the fall, she should of been up the

min the sun was up if she was suppose to be sleeping at all, knowing your mom

was a fall risk! We have gotten use to using infant

monitor's on cases where this type of situation is in the home, but sounds like

if this woman? girl? would not of woke if a band of bag pipes were playing in

the same room!, as sleeping at noon? Keep us posted on your mom, hopefully once

she see's you in person, she will get some connection made. And for the

neighbor's what is there problem?, tell them to mind there business or they

won't have to call the cops U will be there with them for harrassing you at such

update on my Mom, she cant remember who I am most of the time,or she thinks she

is talking to my older Sister.And sometimes she thinks I am still married to my

kids Dad,he and I have been divorced almost 15 yrs. now. They say that she hit

her really bad,but the forgiveness has been going on just after she fell the

first when she broke her hip.So I really dont know,because she seemed fine,she

was talking to me,and not my sister,and she was normal,but now is not anymore. I

will be flying out to San Diego this Friday,I was going to go Monday,but I am

still trying to get the money together to do that. Well I just wanted to let you

all know the update on my Mom. Cheryl
