The Lyrica really helped my pain. I have been reading testimonies from patients on websites taking or who have taken Cymbalta and it scares me too death! I trust all of you to give me your honest opinions regarding Cymbalta. I will not start it until I know your experiences. I have heard that several on here have lost weight on Cymbalta. Has anyone gained more? What about other side affects experienced? Thanks! Theresa in Tn Jodi (JEM) --------------------------------- Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
HI!! I've been on Cymbaltafor 4 years. It does not help with my pain at all. I gained over 30 lbs on it. I have tried to come off it several times (very slowly) and have experienced severe withdrawal. This is a HUGE problem with Cymbalta. I wish I had never gone on it. All the horror stories you have seen online about it are true. I will probably have to stay on it the rest of my life. And it's very expensive. I would try and see if there was anyway to control the weight gain and stay on Lyrica. Jill Re: Cymbalta? hey jodi what mg are you on. it does the reverse on me, i have to take mine in the am. Guest guest
I have been on cymbalta for about 6-8 months, I ran out last month as I didn't have the money to get it filled, (60 mg) I had alot of samples of Effexor and just switched over to that and had no problems. I went back on the Cymbalta as my insurance went into effect last week and I am already a different person. I am not wanting to kill anyone and i don't think anyone wants to kill me (at least today anyway)LOL I have lost 15lbs in the time I have been taking it and while I was off on the Effexor I could eat the kitchen sink. I have lost 120lbs in a little over a year. ng jill larion wrote: HI!! I've been on Cymbaltafor 4 years. It does not help with my pain at all. I gained over 30 lbs on it.
