Hi- Just giving u my experience with this drug. I refused all

antideppresant's, 1 because I have been lucky enough to not suffer depression or

at least I don't know if I have or am or not, so thought why these, then

explained they are used to help with pain in certain things to. 2. Everyone I

knew that took this types of med gained weight and this is all I would need is

to add weight to my discouraged, madding, angry feelings, because when I gain

even a few lbs I am an angry angry person, more because I can't stand the

feeling of tight clothes than the weight itself. Well I got so desperate to get

relief, I agreed, I was put on paxil first, didn't work, which is a weight

gainer. Cymbalta is suppose to be the best if it works, and least of gaining

weight. I had side effects, had to d/c. I then went on effexor which I found

to work, my pain was lessening, I was losing weight, as I had no appetite, and

as it is I only eat 1 meal a day. After 41/2 mo started having

side effects, palputations, eye sight trouble, trembles in a.m. So I went to 1

q other day. until I came off, but boy did I feel then that they really were

helping! I since even though pharmicist said if I restarted would probably have

the side effects again, I went back on and quickly felt better, but now I am

reading that insurances are not covering them unless falling under mental

illness??? , so now I am stopping again as I do not want to get into far and

that be the truth and have to go off . Hope this helps. If u read the inserts

on this drug and effexor says it can cause anorexa so if u choose to go on it

make sure u force yourself to eat small bites throughout the day. Best to

you.............................................................................\
