Hi:

Glad to hear you are improving. I get BV a lot. Boric acid did not work for me at all. It didn't work for yeast either. When she said 'it looked like BV'. Did she say why? Did she see clue cells or did you have a positive whiff test? Did she culture it and send it to the lab? Was your PH high? Some of my infections, they diagnose in the office and some show up on the culture.

I like Tindamax better for BV than Flagyl. It's newer and doesn't kill off the good bacteria like Flagyl does. It also doesn't give me any side effects.

Good luck.

Hi Sherri--

She didn't say anything about a whiff test or clue cells or PH, she

just took a big huge swab, and put it in a container. I feel really

overwhelmed. My first doc wouldn't even check me for BV.

Hi :

Was this a gyno? She did take some type of swab though, right? So maybe you can get an answer from that. Let us know what happens.

,

What kind of probiotic douches are you doing? Just curious.

I just had my first yeast infection ever and I'm pregnant so I refused

to do anything too druggy...I inserted garlic cloves and used

homeopathic suppositories as well. Worked real quick! But not sure if

that would help BV.

Hey sherri--

I just wanted to say thanks for your advice. I did/do in fact have BV.

I just typed up a whole email that explains what happened.
