Guest guest
November 2, 2010Dear Friends and Colleagues: On behalf of the Inclusive Schools Network, I would like to thank you for your past support of our annual Inclusive Schools Week. With that support, we have been able to increase the impact of the Week and its message. This impact is reflected in the record number of hits to our website, reports from families and education professionals around the country depicting the success of their Inclusive Schools Week celebrations, and increased orders of our Celebration Kit and promotional items. The Week has experienced great success in its reach: · Over 4 million hits to the Web site · Nearly 500,000 promotional materials distributed · Over 200,000 downloads of ISW publications · Celebrations in thousands of school districts across all 50 states and in several foreign countries each year· Approximately 8,000 subscribers to Inclusive Schools Network News, our monthly electronic newsletter This year, we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Week that has served to promote a dialogue on the importance of inclusive schools and inclusive educational practices. The 10th Annual Inclusive Schools Week will be held December 6-10, 2010 focusing on the theme “Awareness to Action: Celebrating 10 Years of Inclusive Schools”. I am writing to ask that you demonstrate your continued support of Inclusive Schools Week by promoting the event throughout your networks and/or membership. To assist, I am attaching a copy of this year’s press release announcing the Week as well as an ISN logo that you might consider incorporating into your own written or web site promotions. For more information about the Inclusive Schools Network and Inclusive Schools Week, please visit www.inclusiveschools.org <http://www.inclusiveschools.org> or email inclusiveschools@....
