Joint pain while tappering Prenisone

has had good labs for a few weeks so Vanderbilt has

been tappering his Prednisone. He was on 20mg, 15, 10, 7.5mg with

about two weeks between each change. Since going down to the 10 he has

been aching in his knees and shoulder. We called the nurse today who

said for him to see a primary care doctor, which he has never had, with

very little else to say about the Prednisone. So he called the local

GI who is going to see him tomorrow. They acted like they didn't think

it was related to the prednisone, but I think it is. Anyone have any

experience with joint pain from lower doses of Prednisone?
