The Association of University Centers on Developmental Disabilities is a member of the Friday Morning Collaborative, a coalition of national aging and disability organizations that is working to protect and strengthen Medicaid home and community-based services. We are interested in compiling a list of state-based coalitions working on issues related to Medicaid home and community-based services. Please help us identify these state-based coalitions by completing the following survey. It should only take about five minutes.

Friday Morning Collaborative

With support from The SCAN Foundation, NCOA leads a coalition of national aging and disability organizations working to advance long-term services and supports for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Known as the Friday Morning Collaborative, the coalition formed during health reform and was one of the first coordinated advocacy efforts among the aging and disability communities on long-term services and supports. Thanks to the collaborative’s efforts, the Affordable Care Act includes the Community Living Assistance Services and Supports (CLASS) program and Medicaid reforms that will enhance the lives of millions of seniors and individuals with disabilities. The coalition is now focused on protecting and enhancing Medicaid home and community-based services through successful implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
