It took til today to figure it out!

You know that brain fog we all have? Well, I honestly wish I DIDN'T

have it! Because then I would have realized FOUR DAYS AGO that the

swelling, etc. was actually an allergic reaction to the stupid

antibiotic they had put me on! I took the last dose today and about

30-40 minutes later noticed I had started to swell and had hives!

Hmmm....been this route before....took some benedryl, already taking

a steroid and did a breathing treatment. My doctor finally called me

back later today and concurred - said " stop taking it " - I was like,

well today was the last dose. So every 6-8 hrs I get to take 50 mgs

of benedryl to try and help, plus keep on my steroids that I'm

already on, plus keep up with my breathing treatments so that I don't

have any respiratory issues.

And to think, if I had listened to DH on Saturday morning when I went

into such excruciating pain and let him call 911 this might have been

avoided??? Sigh......I think from now on, if I'm sick, I'm telling

them " no antibiotics " ....this makes the 6th one I cannot take and it

wipes out a whole 'nother " family " of drugs......yippee....

But that's the good news because from what I read online, it

metabolizes quickly and with the amount of water I have been

drinking, it should get out of me quick and then I won't look like a

walking whale with blonde hair......my weight has jumped 10 lbs in a

week!
