Hello everyone. After fighting with the world, my son got approved for Cms

Kidcare. I reside in Miami Florida. Does anyone know what it covers and how does

it work? I havent received his insurance card and information. I just received

an approval letter. Thanks everyone! :)

I am currently fighting with the world. I have applied for kid care and was told that I will not be approved for CMS because I am a tad above the poverty line. Funny how a few thousand dollars per year doesn't change the fact that my daughter has autism and needs therapy. This is a personal question, so if you don't want to answer I completely understand and I apologize sincerely if it is offensive. Are you below the poverty line? If not, how did you get CMS?Jeannie Krouch again I apologize if I have crossed a line by asking, I am just trying to figure all this out.

No need to apologize. Its ok. My son had SSI benefits and they were withdrawn due to my income. The difference with KidCare is that I sent in last years income taxes, where I hardly made money because I wasnt really working. Its pretty sad that we have to deal with all this and still people dont care and dont understand.

I completely understand what you feel, since we are in the same situation: don't make enough to give my son the therapy that he needs and survive but make too much to be able to even aply for cms or kidscare.
